Ducie’s Diary: December 2021

For the past few years, I have put my writing and editing to one side in December and spent the month cooking, reading, writing cards and preparing home-made gifts. And this year is no exception. So, I can’t give you my usual run-down of what I’ve been up to writing-wise, as there’s nothing to report. And other writerly news can wait until next month.

Instead, I’m signing off for the rest of the year. I hope whatever your circumstances, whatever your beliefs, and whether you are spending the final days of the year in the middle of a crowd, in a small group, or on your own, you get the opportunity to take a deep breath and relax. Here’s to a happy and healthy New Year for all of us.
