Counterfeit! Launch Details

With less than 24 hours to go, I’m getting very excited about the launch of my new novel, Counterfeit! The fizz is on ice, the cakes are ordered and the invitations have gone out. We’re going to have a proper, grown-up launch party in Chudleigh tomorrow evening. If you live near-by and would like an invitation, do drop me a line today for details: elizabeth@elizabethducie.co.uk.

With previous books, I have always held a virtual launch online. When I ran my first one for Life Is Not A Trifling Affair, back in 2012, it was quite an innovation. I even had people contact me afterwards to see if they could pinch the idea. That first time, we were only online for a couple of hours. When I launched Gorgito’s Ice Rink in 2014, we were online for twelve hours solidly; I think that was probably a mistake – and it was certainly very tiring.

But these days, virtual launch parties are much more common; so I’m going to buck the trend and not have one for the moment. Counterfeit! will be available as an ebook from tomorrow on Amazon for Kindle – and I will probably be found online, talking about it once or twice (!) during the day. But I’m going to save the big splash until October, when I will be widening distribution to all the other ebook channels as well.

What I have done for this new book is organise a blog tour. Some of my writing pals have generously agreed to host me on their sites, and we have sketched out a list of topics so you won’t see me saying the same things over and over again. You can find details of the dates and locations agreed to far by clicking here; I will update it as more details are fixed, and will add links to each of the posts as they go live.
