COUNTERFEIT_FRONT_150dpiThe manuscript for my second novel, Counterfeit! is with my beta readers at the moment, so I’m having a few weeks off from editing to concentrate on pre-publication promotion. And as part of that, I am delighted to be revealing the cover, designed once again by the brilliant Berni Stevens.

Back in October, I entered the opening lines of Counterfeit! in Literature Works First Page Writing Competition and in December I was delighted to hear that I came third. So I can legitimately call this another prize-winning novel before it’s even been published! And that can’t be bad, now can it?

CoverBut Counterfeit! won’t be the only book I’m launching in 2016. For the past few years, I’ve been writing quite a lot of flash fiction. I’ve had some competition successes and I’ve had a weekly piece read out on the Bea Hutchings show on Riviera FM. So on 25th June, which is National Flash Fiction Day, I will be bringing out a collection of short, short stories, called Flashing on the Riviera. And thanks to artist, friend and fellow Chudleigh Writer, Colin Avery, I am able to reveal the cover for that one too.

So there you have it; two reveals for the price of one. As you can imagine, you will be hearing quite a bit about both books in the coming months.
