Nothing (New) To See Here…

It’s one of those rare months with five Mondays in it. And this morning I woke even earlier than usual (and anyone who knows me will realise just how early that was), worrying about what I could write this week. We’ve already had a snapshot from Chelyabinsk in  Russia; we’ve chatted with Jenny Kane; we’ve taken a stroll through the songs of the 1970s. And last week we visited Pot Luck Club. So what about this odd, extra week?

And finally, in the shower, it came to me. We’ll all take a day off! I won’t write anything; and you won’t read anything. After all, in two weeks time, the Writers’ Summer School at Swanwick will be in full swing and I’ve got a post planned for every day that week. There will be plenty to read next month.

So, go on, do something else! Normal service will be resumed next week. But in the meantime, there’s nothing to see here.
